Actress Chelsea Ingram is set to lead in upcoming feature film Little written by Celine Held. The film is based Deep beneath the streets of New York City, a small community has claimed the abandoned tunnels as their home. Among them is Little, a five year-old girl raised entirely underground. Little’s mother and hero is Nicki, who prostitutes herself to provide for both her daughter and her growing heroin addiction. Despite being kept from the “topside” world, Little’s curiosity and compassion is bursting at the seams- a beacon of light in the dark.
Little is a 2016 Academy Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist and the gold prize drama winner in the 2016 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards.
Chelsea say’s “ I am so inspired by this script and extremely excited to work with such raw material! It is a project one can only dream of’.
Chelsea recently wrapped feature film Tommy battles the Silver Sea Dragon and was awarded ‘Best Actress’ in the Western Sydney Film festival. She is set to star in NYC based theatre company Primitive Grace’s play debut of Keep Calling in the off Broadway Access theatre this coming year.
